All You Need is Love

All You Need is Love - Marie Force All You Need is Love All you need is love by Marie ForceThe first book in the Green Mountain series. Marie sets the tone for the series in All You Need Is Love. It's a delightful story about the big city girl and the small-town guy. You are introduced to large loving family, which sets the stage for many books to come in this series.

Angel's Rest

Angel's Rest - Emily March Angel's Rest Angel's Rest by Emily March  This is a new Author for me. I absolutely loved this book. It made me cry and laugh and that is the best kind. The town and people came alive and I wanted to live there. The love story between Gabriel and Nic made me want to root for them and the happy ending that was sure to come even if I couldn't figure out how

Still Life with Bread Crumbs

Still Life with Bread Crumbs - Anna Quindlen Still Life with Bread Crumbs Still Life with Bread Crumbs by Anna Quinlan     is the story about  Rebecca a 60-year-old previously famous photographer, She rents her New York apartment due to financial difficulties, and rents an inexpensive cottage in a small town. It's a story of new beginnings. The highlight of the book is her budding romance with her roofer. A wonderful love story. A nice theme about her being able to reinvent herself at the age of 60.

Alys, Always

Alys, Always - Harriet Lane Alys, Always Alys, Always by Harriet Lane  The main character was somewhat of an observing eye into the lives, of the family at the centre of the story. She did come off as having a keen sense of who she was or where she wanted to do, in the future. She sort of fell into life turns rather than take an active role. She was like the camera rolling

A Dark Redemption

A Dark Redemption - Stav Sherez A Dark Redemption A dark redemption was my first book by Stav Sherez it follows DI Jack Carrigan and DS Geneva Miller trying to investigate a Murdered Ugandan student they both discover she was a student in London.  I enjoyed this book.

And the Mountains Echoed

And the Mountains Echoed - Khaled Hosseini And the Mountains Echoed And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled HosseiniI liked this book but I found it a little difficult to follow all the characters at times. Hosseini weaves a complicated fabric of the past and present and how each life has progressed. I would have liked to have known more about the lives of some of the main characters and the one fault of the book is that it seems to jump around a lot from times and places and leaves you somewhat dissatisfied and wanting to know more.
